Start with your geometry-only IDF. We will read its zones, spaces and surfaces, then ask for the missing building inputs. You can add weather and sizing files later, before generating the final model. Existing complete IDFs can use the unchanged-file execution path above. This authoring path preserves geometry and rebuilds other objects only with your explicit confirmation.

Project values must come from your drawings, technical inputs or stated study assumptions. The built-in example is synthetic, not a set of code minima.

PTAC, PTHP and a shared boiler/chiller plant with four-pipe fan coils or convective hot-water baseboards are supported. Other HVAC topologies require supported complete native models; no silent substitution.

A candidate comparator is not an independently validated NECB reference. The complete code-reference rules engine is not implemented.

04 / A reproducible preparation step

Prepare immutable model candidates.

No EnergyPlus execution occurs during preparation. A failed geometry or dependency gate remains failed; the raw inputs and failure events are retained.

05 / Persistent jobs, not a timed animation

Run history.

Runs stay associated with the same project and building ID.

A separate worker process handles queued jobs. “Running” is recorded only after the native process actually starts. Closing a browser does not delete the job.

Import existing output files — not a new simulation

Private project import. Prior CSV and log files stay labelled historical and cannot establish source-model fidelity.
